Belen's birthday party

Hej hej!

I'm back in Sweden again after two weeks at home. And after more than 24 hours travelling: Zumarraga-Santander-Frankfurt-Stockholm-Gävle. By car, plane, bus and train. It was really stressful. I passed almost all the day waiting at the airport while I watched the second season of Damages. It's even more better than the first one, and the first one was a good one. If you haven't watch it, you should do it!

I arrived here on wednesday, the day that we were supposed to do the imposible friend(also known before as invisible friend). But one time more, we delayed it. It's incredible how imposible is to meet everyone in one room for one hour. Like we have something to do here! Always is someone missing. I'm willing to give my present and get mine.

Yesterday night we went to the basement in Pinnmovägen to celebrate Belen's birthday. Here you have a collage of the night.

We dressed up like cats (yes, I know, we are more similar to mice than cats). I was a nice party, but I felt weird. While I was at the basque country, new erasmus people arrived and I felt appart. Moreover, there was a lot of people missing, like Celia (I miss you!!!), Laura, Jose, Mateo... And the rest, as they have big party on wednesday at the university, they were not in the mood of partying. Or maybe it was only me. The thing is that I came quite early at home, I spoke a lot with Ewa in the kitchen and I went to bed at 3.40 more or less.

And today? What is the plan for today?

Who knows!

Jueves Gordo, Viernes Flaco, Sabado Regular y Domingo.... Carnaval!

As I'm going to be at home until Tuesday, this weekend I'm going to celebrate here the Carnival. This is not Rio de Janeiro nor Venecia, but it's a good place to enjoy it. I'm going to say even more, the people whith whom I'm gonna be, is one of the best possible right now. Of course I will miss my new friends :-(, but I will celebrate Carnival with all you next week at Belen's birthday party. I hear that is a fancy dress party at the basement. It sounds good...

So, you might be asking your self what i'm going to wear this weekend. Well, let's say that is not really original. I have to say in our defense, that we don't have many time to prepare it. However, I believe is the right choice for a funny night. I let you with a clue of my fancy dress...

ps. Congratulations Ainhoa, you are almost an engineer!

Mateo's birthday and Exchange "Exchange" party

Last week we celebrated Mateo's birthday, poor guy, we waked him up at 8 o'clock for having breakfast all together. I don't have pictures of the moment he opened the door, but his face really worth it. We had breakfast all together and we went to class. As is usuall, we arrived late (it was the first day after Christmas) and of course, the teacher realized that we were "spanish". Later in the evening we had all dinner together at Mateo's appartment and at that time, the spanish people was the first to arrived and the belgium people arrived late!!! Amazing. I have to say that I was supposed to be there at 7 (more or less) and I arrived at 8, so even I got there before belgium people, I was technically late. The party was good, with a lot of food (thank you Mateo) and a cake of Nutella (made by me). For finishing the night we went to the Puben Puben to play some pool and darts.

Next day, friday, we had the Exchange "Exchange" II party at our's. It was so crowded that at the begining it seemed madness. We, the exchange students, were supposed to exchanged between us something typical from our country, food or drink. We, Mateo and me, we made some croquetas (croquette), other spanish people, of course, they made spanish omelet. The finnish girls made some jelly with alcohol, belgiums made chocolate mousse amount others, russians something similar to vegetable sandwich, Ewa and Celia made polish Pierogi (ummmmmmm!)and so on.It is imposible to remember each meal. I really enjoyed it!

And sadly, I'm back to the Basque Country. I don't know until when I'm going to be here and thus, I don't know when I'm going to write here again. Thank you to all the people that has care about me, I appreciate it. See you soon!

Goodbye dinner and Pyjama party

These week we said goodbye to the prettiest girl of Madrid. Monica, we are going to miss you around here! Good luck with everything in your life. Please, tell me how you manage to live appart from your boyfriend. You know that I have experience with that and it's true that I don't know what I would have done without Skype. Take it easy and don't think too much.

Here are some pictures that we took in the goodbye party with the mac of Laura. Good toy. "A mac has less memory but uses it more efficiently" said Laura proud of her soon. Have you put him a name yet Laura? :P

In the other hand, yesterday night we had a pyjama party at Eva, Ruth and Karen's apartment. At the begining it was supposed to be only girls thing, but finally everyone that wants appeared there. The only requirement was to wear a pyjama. Here is a detail of my pyjama:

We ate candys, popcorns and chips, we talked and we played. It was really funny to play the Werewolf. I was one of the three werewolfs and we achieved to kill allmost all the village. jejeje!

We also played another game. You put someone under a blanket and you ask him/her to give you something that they don't really need. What will you do if you were under that cover? Look what David did.

Today it was a lazy day, I'm willing to go to class tomorrow, buff, it's so boring to be at home without nothing to do. I'll tell you tomorrow how is the first day. See you!!

Today I'm going to introduce you to my flate mates. Nice girls. We are going to start with Ewa, the polish girl.

Name: Ewa
Nationality: Polish, from Cracow (or at least near to)
Famous phrase: Are you crazy or something? (with russian accent)
Si claro, como no? (she's learning spanish really fast, faster than our english improves)

She loves music, all kind of music. I was suprised one day when I listened
Amparanoia coming out from her bedroom. I was thinking, "oh, do I left my music on?" when I realized that the music was hers.

And this is Celia (the blond one)

Name: Celia
Nationality: Spanish, from Valencia.
Famous phrases: Y au!
Alcachofa.

She studies teleco and is her last year, like me. She's a good partner for parties, she loves cheese (all kind of cheeses, she eats cheese after each meal) and she hate "her" chinese (we all have a chinese in our life, "my" chinese, "your" chinese"... jejeje).

Can you see the flag after her? Last wednesday we went to the Chinese Happy New Year party. If you don't know, we are going to start the year of the ox. The party was good in its overall: the food spicy, the performance interesting and good company. Starting to know the new erasmus people. It's strange going out without the "old" erasmus people. We are so few now... But we will get use to it, and before we realize it will be over. :( But it's better don't think about it. It's a long time until then.

ps. Thank you Ainhoa for your comments, I hope you enjoy the blog. Please, keep us updated in your blog with your experience.
